Beneficiaries are JHS students of the Apraman MA Basic School, Tepa SDA School, Bantama State Girls School and traders in Kumasi. This is part of an ongoing Digital Technologies Training program to help improve the digital literacy skills of students and economically empower women.

The Organisation of African First Ladies for Development (OAFLAD) met on the side lines of the ongoing United Nations General Assembly in New York, to discuss the strategic focus of the organisation for the next two years. In H.E Mrs Rebecca Akufo-Addo’s submission, she called for greater efficiency and commitment in OAFLADS fund raising efforts.

Every new school year, The Rebecca Foundation donates food items and school supplies to Special schools and orphanages in the country. Food items were donated to The Mampong School for the deaf, Akropong School for the blind, Dzorwulu Special School, SOS Asiakwa, SOS Kumasi, SOS Tamale, SOS Tema, and The Accra Psychiatric hospital children’s ward.

The Rebecca Foundation has graduated some 58 more women in the Dome Kwabenya community as part of our Terema Initiative. These women were trained in bakery and cosmetology and were given startup kits. This is in partnership with The Rebecca Foundation.

This is part of the Terema initiative by The Rebecca Foundation which seeks to empower women economically by giving them employable skills through training.
